This 15 min flight takes you over the MacDonnell Ranges
to Simpsons Gap on Roe Creek, across the North of town
to the Telegraph Station built on the bank of the Todd River
in 1872 and original site of Alice Springs named after Charles Todd's
wife Alice.Then head South along Todd River to Heavitree Gap
on right and Emily Gap to the East along the Ross Highway.
When coming in to land you'll see the Ghan Railway line and
start of the Oodnadatta Track now famous for the Finke Desert Race.
2. Standley Chasm from $75pp
This 30 mins flight takes you over the MacDonnell Ranges
and Heavitree Range to Simpsons Gap in the Chewings Range
then along the Chewings Range to Standley Chasm,
named after Ida Standley, a school teacher at the Jay Creek community
where you fly over next and can still see the remnants
of some buildings.Return to Alice Springs via Owen Springs

First you'll cross the MacDonnell Ranges and see Simpsons Gap
then Standley Chasm on the left, Mt Giles-the third highest in the NT
at1389m, spectacular Ormiston Gorge and Pound and across the
mighty Finke River past Glen Helen Gorge and Resort.
Return to Alice Springs via Ellery Creek Big Hole and Owen Springs Homestead
